LUSH OF THE MONTH – APRIL – YOGA BATH BOMB

LUSH OF THE MONTH – APRIL – YOGA BATH BOMB

Guess what’s back, back again..

( apologies if i now have certain song stuck in your head! )

LUSH OF THE MONTH!

It has been a hot minute since i last reviewed a lush product. My favourite thing to buy from lush is their bath products and since i no longer have a bath, i didn’t have a reason to go. Who thought buying a house without a bath was good idea??! Me of course! Anyways, that explains exactly why i haven’t being going to lush lately. One of my friends recently became manager of my local store so this gave me an excuse to pop in. Funnily enough, the day i went, he wasn’t there. Typical!

I visited lush sometime in march i believe. I had planned to stay at my parents house for a couple of nights so it was the perfect opportunity to pick up some lush goodies! I believe i got some bath bombs, bubble bars and some soap. The shop assistant who served me was lovely, she was so helpful and was full of lush knowledge. I actually left the store with more than intended, but in my eyes, that’s a good thing!

So which product am i hear to talk about today?

THE “YOGA BOMB” BATH BOMB

Take a journey of the self as reassuringly soothing sandalwood oil creates a sanctuary of calm in your bath. When you plunge this meditative fizzer into the water, slow mesmerising shades of oranges, purples and turquoise will unfurl. At the same time deeply relaxing olibanum and ho wood release, fragrancing your body and surroundings. It’s the ideal atmosphere to lie back and contemplate life. ” – Quote from LUSH

The Yoga Bath Bomb is one of the products that the shop assistant pointed out to me. Being a lushie who normally goes for the brightly coloured, candy floss scented items, this one was a complete change!

SCENT

SCENT| The Yoga Bath Bomb to me smells like a botanical gardens with a hint of citrus. That probably makes no sense to anyone but it’s so difficult to describe a scent! I would say it’s quite an unusual scent which at first i wasn’t to sure of. But honestly, the smell will grow on you. I absolutely love it now!

APPEARANCE

APPEARANCE| Unfortunately the look of this bath bomb isn’t very exciting but don’t judge a book by it’s cover! On the outsides it’s a muted orange colour, but once dropped into the bath, it’s an explosion of different colours! Purple, pinks, blues.. it’s a rainbow of colours. Once the bath has settled, you are left with a mustard/orange colour.

EFFECTS

EFFECTS| Bath bombs always do wonders for your skin and this one is no exception. I tend to watch youtube videos when i’m in the bath so i lie there and soak for ages! ( i’m sure i’m not the only one! ) The after effects of this bath bomb is amazing, my skin felt so soft. The scent lingered on my skin for ages after my bath, which is always a bonus!

INGREDIENTS

INGREDIENTS| Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Perfume, Cream Of Tartar (Potassium bitartrate), Cassie Absolute (Acacia farnesiana), Olibanum Oil (Boswellia carteri), Ho Wood Oil (Cinnamomu camphora), Sandalwood Oil (Santalum austro-caledonicum viell), Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Limonene, Eugenol, Linalool, Benzyl Benzoate, Snowflake, Frosty Holly and Gold Glimmer Lustre (Potassium Aluminium Silicata, Titanium Dioxide, Colour 19140, Colour 42090, Synthetic Fluorphlogite, Colour 77492, Silicia), COlour 45410, Colour 42090.

Overall i couldn’t be happier with the bath bomb i picked up. I checked the LUSH UK website and couldn’t find this product listed, so i really hope it’s still available. If not i’m sure i will find another product that i will love just the same.

Until the next one..
