L’Oreal True Match Concealer Review & Swatches!

L’Oreal True Match Concealer Review & Swatches!

If i had to chose only one makeup item to wear for the rest of my life, it would be a close call between mascara and concealer. Concealer is that product for me that changes the appearance of my skin in seconds. I love it! Whenever a new concealer is released in the drugstore, you can bet i have bought it within the week.

I am quite loyal to the Bourjois Radiance concealer but i’m always on the look out for the next best thing. I have to admit when i noticed L’Oreal had released a concealer as part of their True Match range, i was so excited to try it out. It is extremely difficult for me to find a pale enough concealer that works for my skin. The L’Oreal range selection is so impressive that i had high hopes that i found the perfect concealer.

Sadly, the L’Oreal True Match Concealer just isn’t for me. I am all about the medium to full coverage makeup look. Apart from the amazing 14 shade range, there isn’t much going for this concealer. (unless you like a very light coverage!)

The formula of the concealer is very light and runny. I found it very difficult to get any coverage at all from it. I found when i started to blend, the concealer didn’t build, it just spread and eventually disappeared.

One of the main things that bothered me with this concealer was the scent. 9/10 times, a tiny bit of product would get in my eyes. (it’s so runny its hard not too!) and even if i didn’t, if it was less than a millimeter away, my eyes would be stinging! The scent is far to overpowering for a product that is so close to your eyes.

I would say if you don’t have many problems areas to conceal and you like a light coverage, this would be perfect for you. Unfortunately if you are like me and have a lot to conceal, then i would probably give it a miss.

You can read more information about the concealer and buy here

Until the next one..
