L’Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara – Test & Review!

L’Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara – Test & Review!

L’Oreal has always been my favourite drugstore brand for mascara. Back in 2007, 12 year old me was gifted a mascara by my cousin Gemma. This was the first ever mascara i owned and i have been hooked ever since. Since then, of course i have tried other brands but i ALWAYS go back to L’Oreal. For me, they offer the best drugstore mascara.

L’Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara is their latest product to hit the shelves. I really struggled to pick this product up for a couple of weeks as it was constantly sold out. Superdrug finally got them in stock and i have been trying the mascara out over the passed week. I have been SO impressed with the results, so impressed that it deserved it’s own post & review.

L’Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara – What does it claim?

“It’s time to say bye-bye to boring lashes and hello to new Miss Baby Roll Mascara, for mega volume, curl and all-day hold. Our mega curl roller brush curls lashes from the root, for an instant lash lift! The Quick Mega Volume formula volumises lashes and holds them in a curl all day.”Boots.com

Shade Selection

There are 5 shades in the Miss Baby Roll Mascara range. I personally don’t think i could pull off the coloured mascaras, so i just got the black version. However they would be great for costume/halloween makeup looks.

Price

The standard price for the Miss Baby Roll Mascara is £7.99. Which for L’Oreal, is on the cheaper side compared to their other mascaras. With this being a new product, i have seen a few offers out there for it, so you might be able to pick it up a little bit cheaper. In my opinion, £7.99 is the perfect price for it.

Packaging & Brush

I LOVE the packaging, it’s very cute and fun. I would say this style of packaging doesn’t look very luxurious but it’s very fun & takes great flatlay pictures! The brush applicator is definitely on the bigger side. Don’t let this put you off using it, it’s surprisingly very easy to apply. The brush applicator is very interesting to look at. The wand is made up of very short bristles that twirl around like a helter skelter.

Results

The miss baby roll mascara is definitely following the footsteps of the miss manga collection. It offers the same very bold & expressive look. I find the mascara does an all round great job. It lengthens, lifts and volumizies my lashes. The mascara stays in place all day and doesn’t do that annoying transfer malarkey!

Overall Thoughts

I would definitely recommend this mascara to anyone who likes bold lashes. It’s an all round great mascara with an even better price tag. I think L’Oreal has done a great job at offering the same quality mascaras that they always produce but at a cheaper price. I give this mascara an 8/10!

Until the next one..
