Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean 3-in-1 Cleanser Review!
When it comes to cleansers, i have been a loyal Liz Earle customer for the past 2-3 years. I was recently in boots on the search for a new foundation. I found myself gravitating towards the Estee Lauder stand. After getting colour matched for a foundation (and nearly knocking myself out.. don’t ask haha!) i was told that if i bought two items i would get a free gift. Of course i was lured in to that idea and couldn’t say no to a freebie!
I asked the assistant for a cleanser and she advised me to get the Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean 3-in-1 Cleanser. Of course she knows what shes talking about, so i picked it up.
Now, when i first took this home and tried it out. I was a little bit skeptical and said to myself “did i really just spend £26 on a FOAM?!”. However after a few weeks of trying it out, i have been pleasantly surprised (and i would hope so with that price tag!)
The Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean 3-in-1 Cleanser is described as a triple action cleanser. I love a multitask product as they’re perfect for nights where you don’t have time for a full skincare routine. Or if your just lazy like me and want a quick way of cleaning your face!
To use the cleanser, shake the bottle well and apply one pump to your hand. It comes out as a foam (i was skeptical too but bare with it) and then massage it into dry skin. Once the foam has been massaged in, it turns into a light gel. You can really feel the cleanser melting off your foundation, which truly is the best feeling! Once its all been massaged in, rinse off.
I use this product either once or twice a day. I have to say i am so impressed with it. My skin feels extremely clean after every use. After rinsing off, my skin feels like it can breath again, it’s so refreshing. It works well as a makeup remover and doesn’t leave a trace of makeup on your face (apart from mascara).
The only small complaint i have with this cleanser is that you can’t remove your mascara with it. Stupidly i attempted to do this the first time i used it and my eyes were stinging by the end of it (it does say on the bottle avoid eye area). I always assume that all cleansers will remove mascara after using Liz Earles hot cloth cleanser!
I love the scent of the cleanser. It smells very luxurious. The packaging is basic but very practical, i love all beauty products that have a pump.
Would i buy this cleanser again? Yes i would but not on a regular basis. £26 in very expensive for a cleanser and i know my Liz Earle can do just as good of a job. However it is a nice change and i can’t really fault it.
